Though the current times have separated us from family, frends and neighbors, we remain united to each other as members of the Body of Christ. As Orthodox Christians, there are few greater truths present in our faith. In this spirit, the Metropolis of Chicago will share with the faithful sermonettes, prayers, reflection or stories from the clergy members and others of the Metropolis on a daily basis.
We hope you visit this webpage every day and share the pastoral messages with your family, friends and neighbors. The Metropolis asks the faithful for their continued prayers for our first responders, doctors, nurses, and for the people under their care.

Join YAL for Prayer & Connection
Please join us in Virtual Ministry by YAL Chicago: Virtual Connection, a time of Prayer, Community, and Conversation in these times of Social Distancing. Each Friday at 6pm, we will be streaming a live Salutations Service followed by an Open Question Forum at 7pm to all via Zoom.
There is also an opportunity to submit names to be lifted up in Prayer to the Theotokos in these difficult times. We hope to see you all there!
Fanari Camp Prayer Services
Every Wednesday at 3 PM, youth are invited to Fanari Prayer Service via Instagram and Facebook Live. We will also be taking names to pray for so if you would like to submit names, please go to our Instagram Story to input the names of people you’d like prayed for. Please join us in praying for the safety of our community and the entire world. Spread the word for this special service. Stay safe.
