    The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago today announced the work of a transition team to aid in the implementation of new policies, procedures and strategy under the new leadership of His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael, who was installed as the Metropolitan of the Chicago on March 24. The assembled Transition Team includes professionals from throughout the Orthodox Christian community with the knowledge and expertise necessary to help the Church become more efficient and effective in its mission.

The Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Centre, which recently marked is 15th Anniversary, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit facility, accredited by the Joint Commission.

Εἰπάτω δή οἶκος Ἰσραήλ, ὅτι ἀγαθός, ὅτι εἰς τόν αἰῶνα τό ἔλεος αὐτοῦ. Εἰπάτω δή οἶκος Ἀαρών, ὅτι ἀγαθός, ὅτι εἰς τόν αἰῶνα τό ἔλεος αὐτοῦ» (Ψαλτ. 117, 1-3). Ὁ σημερινός ἑορτασμός μᾶς καλεῖ νά ὑψώσουμε τίς φωνές μας καί νά διακηρύξουμε: «ὅτι εἰς τόν αἰῶνα τό ἔλεος αὐτοῦ».

    Last month, following the recommendation of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, members of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Istanbul unanimously cast their votes for Metropolitan Nathanael. He was ordained a bishop of the Church with the title Metropolitan Chicago on Saturday, March 17 in New York City. The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago is honored today to hold an Enthronement Ceremony to install the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Chicago Nathanael Symeonides.
