A Look Back, A Look Forward: 15th Anniversary of the St. Iakovos Retreat Center Telethon

On September 30, 2021 at the Cubby Bear in Chicago, Illinois, the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago's St. Iakovos Retreat Center celebrated their past, present and the future with an in-person gathering and recording of an hour-long special, that is now available to watch by clicking the video above.

The event was hosted by Alison Victoria of HGTV's Windy City Rehab, with guest appearances by His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael, Metropolis Clergy, St. Iakovos Retreat Center President and Board, and Fanari Camp counselors.

The Metropolis of Chicago is blessed to provide our community a unique facility that offers a quiet setting for overnight retreats and camps, as well as a joyful environment for celebrations such as weddings and family reunions!

If you would like to become a part of the St. Iakovos Retreat Center legacy and support its mission, consider ordering a personalized brick!

Honor your family, children, grandchildren, business, corporation, association or provide a lasting tribute or memorial for a loved one. Personalized bricks will be installed in the chapel area leading up to the front doors (patio entryway) and on the cottage sidewalk (for Fanari only*) to help enhance our place of retreat.
Your gift helps the St. Iakovos Retreat Center achieve their mission to provide a place of faith, fellowship, community and service!
