Back to Servant Leadership Award Recipients

Peggy Kallas has been a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in this community serving the church since her teen years. Peggy shares her time and talents in innumerable ways. Her service to the church and leadership of the community have benefited all those that she encounters. She is both humble and generous in all she does.

Her service to the church began as a teen singing in the choir and continued through the years with her teaching Sunday school and participating as a member of Philoptochos. Once her children were grown, she took on new roles in leadership and service.

Just some of the many hats Peggy has worn include: serving on the parish council in all capacities-member, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, President; co-chair of our annual Greek Fest; co-chair of countless dinner-dances; and parish representative at several Clergy-Laity Conferences.

She currently provides leadership to the parish council as Secretary; volunteers as our church secretary ordering supplies and sending needed communications; serves as Neokora; and was bestowed the blessing of Ecclesiastical Diakonia in June 2017 by Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos.
