METROPOLITAN NATHANAEL OFFICIATES PALM SUNDAY SERVICE AT ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX PARISH OF MILWAUKEE

CROWDED ATTENDANCE FOR FIRST VISIT TO MILWAUKEE AND WISCONSIN BY NEW METROPOLITAN OF CHICAGO

MILWAUKEE, WI: In the first weekend following his enthronement, His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael participated in worship services at Saints Peter and Paul in Glenview (IL) on Saturday and at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Milwaukee on Palm Sunday.

His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago officiated Palm Sunday Divine Liturgy at Annuciation Greek Orthodox Parish of Milwaukee. Today’s visit was the first by the Metropolitan outside of the Chicago Metro Area, first to Milwaukee and first to the State of Wisconsin.

The historic Annunciation Greek Orthodox Parish is the only church in the world designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright and is registered as a National Historic Landmark.
