The Saint Athanasios Church community has selected Foti Georgopoulos as its recipient of the Metropolis’ First Annual Servant Leadership Award. Besides doing a great job in helping to lead the church in his role as the Parish Council president, Foti is involved in just about every aspect of the church, whether it be liturgical services, ministries, special events, day-to-day operations, or building and grounds maintenance. Foti has also done an amazing job as chairman of our Spring and Fall Food Festivals, making them record successes year after year. Foti is passionate about the Church and works tirelessly to make sure that everything gets done and done right. For Saint Athanasios, there is not a more deserving recipient than Foti, given his lifetime of devotion and love for the church.
