When our church suffered a fire last fall, we were devastated. We needed someone to help organize recovery efforts, and this is where Bill shined. He jumped into action, finding a place to worship and taking care of the insurance claim. He stayed on top of everything, meticulously taking care of every detail. Bill has also been very proactive with our restoration company to make sure that the repairs get done promptly and to our satisfaction. When a tragedy hits a community, exceptional leadership skills are required. Bill’s quick action and response has helped bring hope and calm to the community. Because of Bill, we know that we’ll soon be able to return home to our church looking better than ever. Because of this, his more than 20 years as our festival chair, and his years of service on the Parish Council, Bill is our first Bronze Cross recipient.
